1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mystrix ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Mystrix is an interactive storytelling platform that allows users to experience AI-powered narrative adventures created by content creators. The Service includes:

  • Access to interactive stories and narratives
  • AI-powered story generation and interaction
  • User accounts and profile management
  • Subscription-based story interactions and one-time access to paid broadcasts

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent content safety systems
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or creators
  • Upload or transmit malicious code
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Stories and content on Mystrix are created by independent creators. Each creator retains ownership of their original content. AI-generated responses during sessions are provided for your personal use within the platform.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Purchases

Mystrix offers subscriptions and paid broadcasts.

  • Subscriptions: Provide AI interactions up to the selected tier's published daily allocation and subject to safety controls. A subscription unlocks the per-tier daily allowance so readers can run that day's turns without per-interaction add-on charges.
  • Story interactions: Individual stories are not sold as standalone goods. A registered reader's generated story interactions are covered by an active platform subscription. An unregistered guest may receive a limited, nonfinancial trial allowance; that allowance is not a product, cannot be purchased or transferred, and does not fund creator compensation.
  • Broadcast Purchases: You may buy permanent access to an individual paid broadcast in a single payment, priced between $1.00 and $200.00 or the equivalent in your currency. Broadcast access does not expire.
  • All purchases are final unless otherwise required by law
  • Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • If a payment is refunded or reversed, the access it bought is withdrawn

7. Content Ratings and Safety

Stories on Mystrix are rated for content appropriateness. You agree to:

  • Only access content appropriate for your age
  • Respect content boundaries set by creators
  • Report any content that violates our community guidelines

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mystrix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
