Minors and Adult-Content Eligibility

1. Minimum age

Mystrix is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (Privacy Policy §10). Creating an account does not currently ask for a date of birth or otherwise verify your age; this minimum age is enforced by this policy and by your agreement to it when you register, not by an automated age check in the product today. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete the information we collected, as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Adult-content eligibility

Adult-rated content on Mystrix is intended only for adults who may lawfully access adult content where they live. Whether Adult-rated content appears in what you are shown is controlled by your own safety-filter preference, which is on by default; turning it off is a self-attestation that you are an adult choosing to see Adult-rated material, not a government-ID check or any other third-party age-verification process. Mystrix does not currently operate an age-verification system gating adult content. By turning off the safety filter, or otherwise accessing Adult-rated content, you represent that you meet your jurisdiction's legal age to do so.

3. Parental responsibility

If a minor has access to a device or account that can reach Mystrix, the parent or guardian responsible for that device or account is responsible for supervising its use, including the account's safety-filter setting.

4. What enforces this today

To be direct about the limits of the current mechanism: eligibility rests on self-attestation at registration and on the safety-filter preference described above, backed by content reporting and moderation review (Moderation, Takedown, and Appeals) for content that turns out to be mis-rated or inappropriately exposed. It is not a verified age gate, and this document does not claim it is one.
