Creator Agreement

1. Relationship
If you create and publish stories, worlds, or other content on Mystrix, you do so as an independent contractor providing creative services and licensing your intellectual property to the operator (see Operator Identity). You are not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of the operator, and nothing in this agreement creates an employment or agency relationship.
2. No agency
As a creator, you cannot:
- Bind the operator to any agreement with a reader or anyone else.
- Transact directly with a reader for access to your content on the platform; readers pay the operator, not you (see Operator Identity).
- Promise, authorize, or issue a refund on the operator's behalf; refunds are handled exclusively by the operator (see Refunds).
- Use the platform to collect payment from a reader outside the operator's own purchase flows.
3. What you grant the operator
By publishing content on Mystrix you grant the operator a licence to host, display, distribute, and promote it, and to adapt it for platform functionality (formatting and AI-choreographed interactive delivery of fixed creator-authored text). You keep ownership of your original work. The details of this licence, and of the rights over choreographed session presentation, are in the Intellectual Property and AI-Output Licence document — this section is a summary, not a substitute for it.
4. Compensation
Compensation you receive for your content is a payment from the operator to you, calculated from the operator's compensation formula for the period — not a share of "your sales," since readers do not buy from you directly. The full mechanics — how the amount is calculated, how often it is paid, the minimum payout amount, and how refunds and chargebacks affect it — are in Creator Compensation and Payout Terms, which this agreement incorporates by reference rather than restating.
5. Your obligations
As a creator you agree to:
- Provide accurate account and (where applicable) tax information.
- Only publish content you have the rights to publish, and rate it accurately for content appropriateness (see Content Ratings and Safety).
- Comply with the same Acceptable Use rules in the Terms of Service that apply to every account.
- Respond to and cooperate with content reports and moderation review concerning your content (see Moderation, Takedown, and Appeals).
6. Suspension, termination, and content takedown
A creator account is subject to the same account-status rules as any other Mystrix account. If your account is suspended or banned, the stories and worlds you own may be taken down from discovery for the duration of the sanction (or indefinitely, for a ban) rather than continuing to be listed and played while your account is locked. See Moderation, Takedown, and Appeals for exactly how this works and how to raise a concern about a decision.
7. Tax documentation
Submit a signed tax document through your compensation workspace. An accepted, current
tax review is required before compensation can be scheduled or sent. The review records
the applicable jurisdiction and withholding treatment. Your statement and payment show
gross compensation, tax withheld and the net amount paid. Replacing a document or an
expired review requires a new review before another payment. Reporting and remittance
remain the Company's responsibility under applicable tax law.
