Mobile apps and party sessions

Reader and Creator apps

Mystrix has separate reader and Creator mobile apps. Use the reader app to discover stories, manage

reading sessions, notifications, and account-facing features. Use the Creator app for Studio work,

publishing status, earnings, Creator notifications, and support. Both apps use the signed-in

account's server data, but each app has its own notification setting and app-specific navigation.

Confirm the device is online, return to the previous screen, and reopen the item once. For story

playback, reopen the existing session instead of starting several copies or resubmitting a choice

while it is loading. For Creator work, confirm the save response before leaving the editor. If the

website shows the new state and the app does not, include the app, screen, item title, and visible

error when contacting support.

A party has a host and a bounded member list. Join through the party identifier or code supplied by

the product. Joining again as an existing member does not create another membership. An ended or

full party cannot accept another member. A participant can leave; the host ends the party instead

of leaving it.

Only party members can create or cast ballots in that party's votes. Votes use the choices and

duration presented by the party surface, and closed votes show their recorded outcome. If a vote

is unavailable, check that the party is still active and that your account is still a member before

retrying. Contact support with the party id and vote id if the displayed roster and permission

result disagree.
